DRC’s Senior Project Manager Mike Romo, SR/WA is an accomplished right-of-way professional with more than 33 years of experience. He has provided technical expertise and administrative guidance for leading transportation agencies, including Caltrans, LA Metro, SBCTA and Riverside County. At Caltrans, Mr. Romo covered nearly all aspects of right of way and complex issues to achieve construction delivery. He forecasted expenditures and coordinated with Caltrans staff in developing the district director’s annual commitment for contract delivery. As the R/W Local Programs Senior he helped guide local agencies with policy, procedures and approvals with R/W Certifications. Mr. Romo is familiar with Caltrans Right-of-Way Manual and the LAPM as it relates to R/W delivery and processes. Mr. Romo is a member of the International Right-of-Way Association and is currently the Profession Development Chair for local Chapter 57. Mr. Romo has delivered R/W on projects that were both on-system and off-system.
