CADD Services for the Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering/Environmental Engineering Division (BOE/EED)

DRC provides computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) support to civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural designers for upgrading BOE/EED’s existing units and for designing new process units at the city’s four wastewater treatment and water reclamation plants. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit platforms, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), DRC’s CADD specialists are supporting designs for:

  • All phases of piping and piping modifications;

  • Foundations, pipe supports, retaining walls, underground structures, and site drainage;

  • Feeder wire and circuit-breaker sizing, equipment layout, and performing short-circuit calculations; and

  • Brine and fresh water lines, high and low pressure effluent lines, site grading, drainage, storm drains, and catch basins.

 

DRC is also coordinating and supervising the development of BOE’s new CADD manual to comply with national CADD standards, V6.
